INT. LILY’S HOUSE

Lily Rose (19) opens her eyes to see the morning sunlight, streaming through the window into her small bedroom. The forest outside is visible right outside her window. She blinks a few times and sits up, stretching her arms above her head and yawning.

She gets up and walks over to her wooden vanity on the other side of the room. She sits on her wooden vanity and proceeds to comb her long, golden blonde hair.

She looks at herself in the mirror – a soft-featured face, with big blue eyes and long blonde lashes. Her fairy wings fluttered gently behind her as she combed.

DIANA “MS.” ROSE (41)
(From kitchen, muffled) I’m going out into town today. Make sure you keep an eye on your sister, okay?

ATHENA ROSE (20)
Sure. Whatever.

Lily rolls her eyes. There’s her sister, putting on her “too cool to care” act again. Maybe Athena is taking out her anger at their sheltered, boring life on her mom. Lily can understand why.

She finishes her morning routine, pulling on her favorite white linen mini dress, along with pink knit socks, matching fingerless gloves, and brown combat boots. She’s going to explore the woods today, so she needs to dress for it.
