Fairy Ballet

The fairies gathered in the clearing
As the night stars began appearing
They danced gracefully beneath the trees
Pirouetting and prancing under the leaves

Petal tutus and silken shoes
Sparkling in light pastel hues
Wings shimmering like crystal glass
As they step softly upon the grass

The full moon was out, illuminating the sprites
Who were out dancing until past midnight
A celebration lasting many hours
A fairy ballet amongst the flowers.
